Serger Usage Classes Now Available!

As you see on the calendar, the first Serger/Overlock Machine usage class is scheduled for Monday March 5, 2012 at 6PM. To register for this class if you have not already, please contact Caitlin at Emily’s Sewing Basket at 303-238-3100, as space in this session is extremely limited.

If you are interested in a usage class for your serger but cannot make it at that time, please also contact Caitlin at the above number, and she will find a time to accomodate! If you have purchased your machine from Emily’s the usage session is free. If you have purchased or aquired your machine elsewhere, there will be a $20 fee, payable at the time of the class. Any brand, make, or model of serger or overlocking machine may be covered in this class.

Registration for Classes Now Availble Online!

Both usage classes and the new section of Beginning Quilting are available to be registered for online! Usage classes are free for anyone who has purchased their machine at Emily’s Sewing Basket. If you would like to take the usuage classes but have aquired your machine elsewhere, just ask! Register online, then pay the $30 fee in person at Emily’s Sewing Basket.

Beginning Quilting starts February 1, 2012, and is a 12 week class covering many styles of quilting, as well as borders, batting, and binding! The fee is $250 payable through Paypal after registering for the event here, and includes a minimum of 36 and up to 60 hours of one-on-one instruction time. Sign up today!
